International Islamic Banking and Takaful Awards held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
(UAE, Dubai, August 29, 2024): The International Islamic Banking and Takaful Awards distribution ceremony was celebrated during the 5th International Interest-Free Banking and Takaful Forum organized by AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking & Economics (CIBE) at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The event aimed to encourage the Interest-Free Banking & Takaful industry and to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals and institutions within the sector. AlHuda CIBE extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners of the awards.

HGR Kinkole sous tension : Après les violentes échauffourées, les médecins déclenchent une grève dès ce jeudi 16 avril
L’Hôpital Général de Référence de Kinkole a vécu des heures de vive tension dans la nuit du 14 au 15 avril 2026, plongeant le personnel soignant, les malades et leurs gardes dans une situation de panique généralisée. Selon les témoignages recueillis auprès des médecins de garde, des individus venus de Pakadjuma auraient pris le contrôle d’une partie du service de chirurgie, armés notamment de flèches et d’autres instruments jugés agressifs.
D’après les récits du personnel médical, plusieurs portes administratives ont été forcées, notamment celles du secrétariat, du bureau de l’Administrateur Gestionnaire Titulaire (AGT) ainsi que d’autres bureaux centraux. Si les assaillants ne sont pas parvenus à ouvrir certaines pièces, leur présence a suffi à semer la peur dans tout l’établissement. Les malades, les gardes-malades et les soignants ont été pris de panique face à cette intrusion brutale au sein d’un lieu censé être dédié aux soins et à la sécurité.
Le bilan provisoire communiqué par les médecins fait état d’au moins quatre morts alors qu’un premier rapport faisait état de deux décès par balle ainsi que de douze blessés, dont trois cas graves. Plusieurs biens appartenant aux prestataires, patients, stagiaires et accompagnants auraient également été emportés lors des violences. Les blessés ont été transférés à l’hôpital militaire de Kokolo sur décision des autorités communales de N’sele.
Face à cette situation jugée intenable, la quasi-totalité du personnel soignant a quitté l’hôpital et a décrété une grève à compter de ce jeudi 16 avril. Les médecins dénoncent l’absence de garanties sécuritaires et refusent de reprendre le travail tant que leur intégrité physique, celle des patients et celle des infrastructures hospitalières ne seront pas assurées.
